Welcome to the Glen Flora Emporium. We opened our doors in August, 1994 in the historic Hood-Martin building in Glen Flora, TX, a once-thriving community situated near the Colorado River five miles north of Wharton. The 20,000 square foot building was a mercantile store from the time of its construction in 1912 until the 1950's, and served a variety of functions in later years. Owner Trish Winkles acquired the store in December 1993 and has transformed 8,000 square feet of the building into an antique mall. Local dealers offer a variety of collectibles, including furniture, glassware, books, costume jewelry, country and primitive items, stoneware, old soda bottles, advertising items, vintage clothing and hats. In addition to the dealer stock, the mall contains many items from individual consigners. Please visit our Current Merchandise and Pottery pages to view a sampling of our items. Trish Winkles invites collectors, dealers and browsers to visit when they are in the area. We are 20 miles south of Eagle Lake, 30 miles from Wallis, 45 miles from Houston, and only 5 miles north of Highway 59 on FM 102.
